Client : A cybersecurity startup bidding for a government contract to supply endpoint protection and SOC services.

Challenge:

The client had deep technical skills but lacked expertise in writing structured technical proposals aligned with public procurement standards (RFP/TOR). Their previous attempts were rejected due to poor formatting, unclear deliverables, and weak value propositions.

Our Approach:

We analyzed the RFP requirements and coordinated with the client to gather technical input, service catalogs, case studies, and pricing. We then structured the proposal using best practices (IEEE 830/840 and local tendering rules), ensuring clear sections for methodology, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance.

Solution:

We authored a compelling proposal with visuals, risk mitigation plans, and technical differentiators, along with a compliance matrix mapping all RFP requirements..

Outcome:

The proposal passed the technical evaluation with the highest score and helped the client win the contract. The startup established credibility with the government and has since won two additional tenders using the same proposal model we helped develop.
